Community Social Workers are assigned to specific Calgary neighbourhoods and work with the residents to create meaningful change. 

 

Neighbourhoods that have Community Social Work Volunteer opportunities include Abbeydale, Acadia, Bankview, Beltline, Crossroads, Downtown Core, Glenbrook, Greenview, Highland Park, Huntington Hills, Kingsland, Manchester, Rosscarrock, Southwood and Spruce Cliff.

 

Volunteer opportunities are also available in the neighbourhoods that are part of the Community Hub Initiative. Hubs are located in Martindale, Pineridge, ForestLawn, Sunalta and Bowness.
