The intent of the incentive is to help offset construction costs associated with building a backyard suite by offering up to $35,000 per qualifying project, helping to reduce barriers for the development of these units.

If the property is owned by a corporation, please provide the first and last name of one of the directors and enter the name of the corporation in the Previous, Maiden, or Corporation Name (if applicable) field.

      Your land title can be obtained at any Alberta Registry or on the Spin2 website.

        Provide a site plan (or real property report) of the subject property and draw in the proposed location of the suite. It must also include parcel coverage, proposed distances from the suite to the property lines & the main dwelling, and location of all parking stalls.
