Is your home a single family home, semi-detached (side-by-side), or duplex?

Note that complete applications for semi-detached homes require proof of full roof replacement, i.e. both sides of the structure. 

 

Proceed if the property is in good standing on the tax roll, i.e. does not have a tax recovery notification registered on title. 
 

Was the roof of your home damaged from a 2020 hailstorm?

You are not eligible at this time.

Have you fully replaced your roof with a Class 4 impact resistant product after June 13, 2020? Roof replacements prior to June 13, 2020 are not eligible.

Stage 2 of the program opens to all eligible homeowners on January 1, 2022. Applications will be accepted for roof replacements dating back to June 1, 2021.

 

If using a contractor who is not a member of the Alberta Allied Roofing Association (AARA) or Alberta Roofing Contractors Association (ARCA), an inspection report, by a third-party, approved roofing contractor is required to show compliance with the Resilient Roofing Installation Checklist. The inspection report and proof of purchase will be required. 

 

Find an approved roof inspector at ARCA inspectors or AARA inspectors.

 

If using an AARA or ARCA roofing contractor for your roof replacement, no inspection is required.

 

Proof of purchase for the roof replacement will be required.

 

Did you use a roofing contractor who is a member of the Alberta Allied Roofing Association (AARA) or Alberta Roofing Contractors Association (ARCA)?
Would you like to receive conditional pre-approval to have rebate funds held for you for 90 days?

If you intend to fully replace your roof in compliance with the Resilient Roofing Installation Checklist, submit your application with the required details and supporting documents.

Approved applications will have rebate funding held for 90 days.

 

If you are planning to use a contractor who is not a member of the Alberta Allied Roofing Association (AARA) or Alberta Roofing Contractors Association (ARCA), an inspection report, by a third-party, approved roofing contractor is required to show compliance with the Resilient Roofing Installation Checklist. The inspection report and proof of purchase will be required to finalize your submission for the rebate.

If using an AARA or ARCA roofing contractor for your roof replacement, no inspection is required.
