All sites must be within a two (2) kilometre diameter which may span across one or more geographic communities.

A maximum of twenty (20) sites may be included per inquiry. Each inquiry may include one (1) or more asset types from the following:

A maximum of twenty (20) street light poles (SLP) for the deployment of one or more small cell antenna.
A maximum of one (1) Facility Management (FM) building. First preference and one (1) alternative may be provided.
A maximum of one (1) parcel of land for a macro tower. First preference and two (2) alternatives may be provided.
A maximum of two (2) macro street light poles. One (1) alternative may be provided.

For macro

Street Light Pole: height increases more than 25% (Type A, requires public consultation)

Street Light Pole: height does not increase more than 25% (community notification may be required)

Use the City of Calgary - Wireless Infrastructure Asset Map to select the street light poles that you're interested in inquiring about for your Site Feasibility Application (both small cell and macro cell deployments). Note the Address and Street Light ID for each pole you select and enter it into the field(s) below.

Macro

Enter the street light poles that you would like to inquire about for macro cell deployment. Choose up to two (2) preferred existing street light poles to replace with new macro street light poles and up to one (1) alternative. The alternative will only be evaluated by The City if one of the preferred locations is found not to be feasible.
