Calgary is film friendly and you are part of making filming in Calgary a positive experience.
Throughout your application, you provided information that will support our communications system. This collaborative system makes deploying City services efficient, enables us to support you through your production and keeps community members and local businesses informed about disruptions in their area.
All productions with significant impact are required to deliver approved Dear Neighbour letters in the local area a minimum of 2 business days before your service is deployed or impact starts.
Please review your application and correlate the information you provided to fill in this template. Your Coordinator will support you in writing this letter, but you can get started on your draft now. You can develop one or multiple letters if you have different locations across the City.
Please attach a copy of your best draft to this application, with the map of your location imbedded. If your file is too large, please attach your map separately or send a copy to your assigned Film Permit and Services Coordinator or to film@calgary.ca with your name and project title identified.
Maps must include:
1. Identification of the areas you are impacting and their requested use (ex: traffic control, restricted parking, etc.)
