Use this form to add your organization to Calgary Culture Connect, a free online resource managed by The City of Calgary’s Arts & Culture team that showcases the cultural diversity of Calgary and the Treaty 7 region. This resource has been developed to build connections with local arts, culture, and heritage organizations. It aims to encourage opportunities for collaboration, community engagement and help organizations gain visibility. For any questions or updates, please email us at culture@calgary.ca.

 

Organizations eligible for inclusion must meet all the following criteria:

  • are a registered non-profit or charity
  • operate with an arts, culture, heritage or social mandate
  • are based in Calgary.

We are also inviting submissions from First NationsMétisInuit and Urban Indigenous organizations based in Calgary or the Treaty 7 region that operate with an arts, culture, heritage or social mandate.

 

Please fill out the form as thoroughly as possible. Only the information identified as publicly available will be listed on Calgary.ca. If your organization does not have a physical office, provide alternative contact details that can be shared with the public.

 

*The arts include the visual and performing arts, public art, music and non-commercial film. Also known as the non-profit arts sector, the arts are part of the creative economy.

 

Culture is anything that defines the unique identity of a community or social group. This includes such characteristics as social customs, seasonal traditions, geography, cuisine, oral traditions, fashion, literature, music, religious expression and the cultural components of sport. It also includes community initiatives and gathering spaces, such as festivals and events and libraries.

 

Heritage includes built, cultural and natural forms, and is focused on the research, education, and preservation of our shared heritage in Calgary.
